5 Everyday Photoshop Skills (For iPhone too :)

1. Hue/Saturation.

 Many people don't realize the difference a little fine tuning can do to their photos! Just by going and adjusting ones hue and saturation one can add color in low color areas, brighten up a photo or bring a little bit more complexion to ones cheeks.

2. Cropping.

Another commonly used feature is cropping. As I pointed out to my uncle in the store last night, sometimes its better to have a little bit of a smaller frame to your photo rather than a larger or even properly sized one. The reason for this is, it allows us to focus in on certain aspects of the photo and cause them to be the center of attention.

3. The Clone Stamp Tool.

Ever had a breakout? scratch? or any little imperfection on the perfect photograph? Well with this handy little tool you can copy a small section of the photo and paste some of its coloration over top of the blemish, talk about a life saver!

4. Selection Tools

For anyone looking to mismatch photos, quickly make a collage or do any manipulation of any kind the selection tool is a must. With these simple easy to use tools one is able to transform a simple picture of your friend playing volleyball to a simple picture of your friend playing volleyball.... ON THE MOON! Haha

5. Layers

Layers are a part of Photoshop that is irreplaceable, want a moon in your picture? Add it. Want mountains in the distance? Add them, re-size them, move them around a bit its all up to you.
